As you can see MidJourney has generated random styles. The question now is whether or not we want to go the vector route or the photorealistic route. I personally like the vector route. Sometimes when you go the photo realistic route, you enter the uncanny valley.

Let’s try it again by adding vector graphics.

It’s still not right. There needs to be more. Usually, around this time, I like to play around with the camera position and the background. Let’s try it again

Now we’re starting to get somewhere. I like #2 the best. Let’s try this again and add more contrast.

At this point, we could add in high contrast or contrast. I like #4 the most. Let’s make 4 variations and see what happens.

I like #2 the best so let’s make a big version of it and see what happens.

While this looks really good, it’s always good to look at the process and analyze it. One thing that happened is that the color of the images went to a sepia tone. If we wanted to add color, we could do that. There’s no reason to not have color. Color did exist in the 1920s.

Overall, this was a really fun process.
